Networks

We firmly believe that the community is the vibrant heart that brings an area to life.
We are passionate about strengthening those bonds and empowering local groups
and organisations to make a difference by providing resources and creating
opportunities for growth.
We can help you if you are about to start a new community group, or are trying to
develop an existing group, need help with your management committee or managing
people, or are looking for funding.
We host a Community Network and organise quarterly Community Network Forums
where groups and organisations can come together in a friendly and supportive
atmosphere, hear from inspiring speakers, discover funding opportunities, share
information, and network with others.
To find out more, contact our Community Development Manager, Andy Oxnard on
07469 818546.

Community Engagement

It’s important that communities have a say on how services are planned and
delivered, so that people have access to the health services they need and where
possible provided locally.
The Your CVS Community Engagement Team work with a range of community
forums, networks and individuals, to raise awareness of health issues and gather
feedback on current and planned health and care services.
The team also works with GP surgeries, helping them to develop and grow their
Patient Participation Groups. PPGs make a number of positive contributions,
including providing a patient’s perspective, helping to promote health & wellbeing,
improving communication and influencing service development.
